The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is in the perfect place to tell the story of life in the Navy during the 20th century - right in the middle of Portsmouth Docks.
The team at NMRN commissed us to deliver a bespoke training day as they got ready to write text.
We had a lively session with plenty of discussion among the team, looking at how narratives can be structured and delivered to really engage visitors' interest.
'The whole exhibition team have really benefitted from Lucy's training - not least from her positivity and belief that text writing does not have to be a daunting prospect. A one day workshop took us through many examples of successful writing, then challenged and provoked us to decide on the approach which will work best for us. As a follow up Lucy provided us with the planning tools that got the team started and have allowed us to write lively and creative text.'

After the session, Lucidity was asked to undertake a detailed review of the first text drafts, to check that the team were on track with their language, focus and style.
